Elvire is built on contrast. The body is crocheted in a caramel brown straw with a thick, undulating stitch, while the handles are two slim strips of smooth cognac vegan leather, joined to the bag with long, clearly visible chevron stitching.
Those exposed stitches are not decorative: they spread the tension across the weave and stop the handles from pulling it out of shape over time. On a basket, that construction detail matters.
The handles are long, easily enough for the shoulder even over a light jacket. The body flares gently towards the top, on a flat base that sits steady. The caramel brown of the straw is warmer than the usual natural tone and gives the bag a less strictly seasonal feel. Keep it somewhere dry between outings.

The bag is really beautiful and spacious, the material feels very close to leather. There's a standard crossbody strap and another one for carrying on the shoulder. It arrived on time and well packaged, in a dust bag and a plastic sleeve. Very happy with my purchase.

An incredibly cool bag, and above all, really spacious. Nice to the touch, short comfortable handles (there is also a long strap, but I don't need it yet). There is a small zipped pocket inside and two sewn-in pockets on the other side. They are not very deep, but they are really handy for a mirror or a folding comb. The zip feels good quality. The stitching is even and there are no loose threads. The bag has almost no smell.

As a handbag, it's good for classes and there are pockets inside. Top quality. However, delivery took more than 10 days!! And nobody told me about the delays. I had to send an email to be reassured that my bag was actually coming. I didn't even get a tracking number. I can understand you may have transport or logistics issues, but the least you could do is let people know
I bought this bag for my daughter and she's happy to go to school with it. The only problem was the delivery time, which was a bit long (12 days). Customer service was responsive though, and told me it was due to a high volume of orders during the back-to-school period. A tracking number would have been appreciated..
