A black tote with no visible hardware at all is rarer than you might think. Valentine carries no clasp, no buckle and no brand plate on its front panel: just the grain of the material and the accuracy of the stitching.
The top edge is scooped into a U that softens the straight line and makes one-handed access easy. Two vertical seams frame the central panel and mark where the gussets sit, opening out according to what you carry.
That pronounced grain gives the black some relief and keeps it far from the flatness of a smooth finish. The handles are long and slender, set at exactly the right drop for the shoulder. The bag is really beautiful and spacious, the material feels very close to leather. There's a standard crossbody strap and another one for carrying on the shoulder. It arrived on time and well packaged, in a dust bag and a plastic sleeve. Very happy with my purchase.

An incredibly cool bag, and above all, really spacious. Nice to the touch, short comfortable handles (there is also a long strap, but I don't need it yet). There is a small zipped pocket inside and two sewn-in pockets on the other side. They are not very deep, but they are really handy for a mirror or a folding comb. The zip feels good quality. The stitching is even and there are no loose threads. The bag has almost no smell.

As a handbag, it's good for classes and there are pockets inside. Top quality. However, delivery took more than 10 days!! And nobody told me about the delays. I had to send an email to be reassured that my bag was actually coming. I didn't even get a tracking number. I can understand you may have transport or logistics issues, but the least you could do is let people know
I bought this bag for my daughter and she's happy to go to school with it. The only problem was the delivery time, which was a bit long (12 days). Customer service was responsive though, and told me it was due to a high volume of orders during the back-to-school period. A tracking number would have been appreciated..
