Mathilde is a basket in the most classic sense. Straw braided into thick twists gives it a strongly marked relief, and the round rigid handle, itself fully wrapped in straw, forms a perfect circle above the bag.
That circular handle is the whole charm of the model: it sits in the hand and lends the bag a graceful outline, a long way from rectangular totes.

The bag is really beautiful and spacious, the material feels very close to leather. There's a standard crossbody strap and another one for carrying on the shoulder. It arrived on time and well packaged, in a dust bag and a plastic sleeve. Very happy with my purchase.

An incredibly cool bag, and above all, really spacious. Nice to the touch, short comfortable handles (there is also a long strap, but I don't need it yet). There is a small zipped pocket inside and two sewn-in pockets on the other side. They are not very deep, but they are really handy for a mirror or a folding comb. The zip feels good quality. The stitching is even and there are no loose threads. The bag has almost no smell.

As a handbag, it's good for classes and there are pockets inside. Top quality. However, delivery took more than 10 days!! And nobody told me about the delays. I had to send an email to be reassured that my bag was actually coming. I didn't even get a tracking number. I can understand you may have transport or logistics issues, but the least you could do is let people know
I bought this bag for my daughter and she's happy to go to school with it. The only problem was the delivery time, which was a bit long (12 days). Customer service was responsive though, and told me it was due to a high volume of orders during the back-to-school period. A tracking number would have been appreciated..
